downtrend in black pepper may discontinue in the next 6-7 days. Black pepper
Markara in Delhi fell by Rs 10 to Rs 720 per kilogram due to weak buying from
stockists in the last week. Kochi market was closed owing to the legislative
election, but at the previous weekend about 300 / 400 bags arrived in the
market where the price remained at the strong level of Rs 700 / 710. Black
pepper in spot may improve in the coming days.
