ginger rose by Rs 500 to Rs 16000 per quintal due to strong buying from
stockists on the reduced prices. Kochi market was closed owing to weekly-off,
but a day ago about 25 / 50 bags of dry ginger arrived in the market and the
prices remained at the previous level of Rs 160 / 165 per kilogram. Seeing
this, dry ginger in spot is not fear of falling in the next 1-2 days.
