Maize
rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1350 / 1400 per quintal due to good demand from the exporters
in Bihar’s markets despite the higher output. At present, maize is being sold
at Rs 1340 / 1350 according to moisture at the rack point in Darbhanga line.
Consequently, maize in Delhi went up by Rs 100 to Rs 1550. On this line, it is
likely to increase further in the coming days.
