Weak
selling of paddy and rice in UP, Haryana and Punjab’s markets was seen during
the last week which the market witnessed a downtrend of Rs 150 / 300. At
present no exporter is keen to buy rice. On the other hand, the resellers are
quoting its prices down continuely. Fine rice prices have witnessed a heavy
loss in Travadi, Safedo and Nising lines in the last four days. The market will
be cool till a few days due to slow demand from exporters.
